Private by design

Your conversations
stay between you

Voice, messages, screenshots, and other attachments travel encrypted between your devices. Our connection servers help you connect without receiving their contents.

We don't collect or store your communications on our servers. We never will. And we'll never sell your personal data.

Some networks need a relay. When available, it forwards encrypted traffic without reading or storing its contents.

Good to know

How do I connect with friends?

Create a room and share its six-digit code. Friends can join from desktop or a browser, with no account needed. Sign in for friends, direct calls, and Premium.

What data does Holycord need?

We use room and connection information, security logs, and diagnostics to run the service. Accounts also need profile details, friends, membership records, and sign-in sessions, including approximate location. This doesn't include your voice, message, or attachment contents.

Can I read messages later?

Chat stays in app memory. Refreshing or quitting clears it; signing out clears account chats. There's no cloud history or offline delivery, so both people need to be online. Recipients can keep copies of what you share.

What does encryption protect?

Voice, messages, and attachments are encrypted in transit. Our connection servers don't receive their contents. Private chats go only to their recipients. The people you connect with may see your network address; encryption doesn't make you anonymous.
